I decided that in my next life I would love to come back as a cat. Seriously, just today as I peeled myself out of bed to get Ava's bottle and almost broke an ankle tripping over my cats who just lay wherever they want, I decided that the cat life is for me. Why? For many reasons. First, cats are intelligent and interesting creatures. Don't get me wrong, I love all animals but cats have their own personalities, unlike dogs who are followers. They are also very clean and take pride in their own cleanliness. Which other animal grooms as much as a cat? But what I enjoy most about a cat's life is their ability to sleep! Cats conserve energy by sleeping more than most animals, especially as they grow older. The daily duration of sleep varies, usually 12–16 hours, with 13–14 being the average. Some cats can sleep as much as 20 hours in a 24-hour period.
Honestly... who wouldn't want a cat's life?
